Here are some beautiful highlights from the morning of Day 2 at Engage12. Beautiful and no doubt delicious pastries graced the breakfast buffet. I so love the hand painted name tags made by Momental Designs and the gorgeous chevron sequined linens. The gold spray painted succulents are a gorgeous touch on the conference tables and the chevron paneling for the stage is stunning as well.
Oh how I wish I was in Las Vegas, specifically at the lush Mandarin Oriental for Engage!12. Their opening party did not disappoint. Synchronized swimmers, gorgeous food displays, a gorgeous property, and amazing people – what more could you ask for?

I absolutely LOVE the Engage conferences put on by Engaging Concepts. It is a luxury wedding summit that attracts the creme de la creme of the wedding industry. Speakers include industry power players such as Sean Low, Carley Roney, Randy Fenoli, Mindy Weiss, and many others. I have had the privilege of attending several of them but I couldn’t make it to Las Vegas this time around. Rebecca Grinnals was kind enough to include me by having me pin the conference for them. I am beyond honored to be able to take part in this amazing conference from home. Missing my friends that are there and enjoying the gorgeous photos that are pouring in. I love tech gadgets and have been known to stop at nothing to get oh, say, the first iPhone, the first iPad, and such when they first came out. I’m such a geek and love that I’m married to a nerdy geek as well. Anyways, I came across these gadgets, and absolutely adore them. The first one goes without saying how cool it is – to have a phone handset attached to your iPhone or iPad that allows you to chat via Skype, FaceTime, Google Talk, and other web based communications. What is old is definitely new again!
Then there’s the cute iPhone and iPad cases that are a little bit different, but would make a nice addition to anyone’s case collection. By the way, these would make a great graduation gift. Which is your favorite?

Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook married his longtime girlfriend Priscilla Chan this weekend. For her surprise wedding, she chose a very simple and beautiful gown by Claire Pettibone. Known as the “Sky Between the Branches” gown, it features an ivory laser-cut floral dress adorned with matte sequins lined in silk. The gown displayed subtle cutouts in the overlay, with an illusion jewel neckline, sheer back and chapel-length train. We “like.”
When I saw this shoot, it was like a breath of fresh air. Perfection was in every single photo from the flowers to the lighting. I love all of Jaclyne’s work – she’s an amazing floral designer and has an eye for combining flowers in such a beautiful way. Take a look at this gorgeous wedding shoot and I’m sure you’ll agree with me that it is just plain dreamy.
Jaclyne tells the story behind this shoot the best: ”This shoot still makes my citrus orchard loving heart soar… My vision was a preppy, elegant wedding reception set in the middle of an orange orchard. We took this look in a different direction than rustic and vintage, instead we wanted something fresh yet classic. This table design was also featured in the 2011 edition of Bride and Bloom Magazine.
Stephanie Williams of This Modern Romance is by far one of my favorite photographers. Her eye for design and detail is impeccable. She is warm, friendly and extremely talented. I am always in awe of her work and giving heart. She and her husband Isaac also helped us bring a table and all of our pieces out into the middle of an orchard. This shoot really would not have been possible without these two amazing people. They were also the genius photography team behind our Spanish photo shoot.
