Spring is upon us and it’s time to get the flower beds planted again.  It’s never cold enough in San Diego to plant bulbs – it was a hard lesson learned many years ago when we were first married – my sweet husband decided to plant oh, about 1000 bulbs while I was out of town one weekend.  He told me about the surprise when I got back and we eagerly awaited the first signs of spring.  Well, we waited and waited and waited. Only a few crocus, freesia, daffodils, and bearded irises made their debut.  Bummer.

I stopped by our local nursery today to try and see what color palette I wanted to do my flower beds in this year.  Here are a few of my favorite ones.  Which one do you like the best?
