This year marks the centennial that Japan gave Washington DC an incredible gift of 3,000 cherry blossom trees. This epic festival will take place between March 20 – April 27, 2012 for five weeks. I find the cherry blossoms so beautiful and ethereal – I had a chance to take my family to New York City a few years ago to watch the blossoms fall from the trees. Absolute beauty. One day I’ll see these bloom in DC. Will you be there?
