This meal is NOT for the faint of heart and I will not try and figure out how many calories are in this sandwich. I will however say how darn tasty it was – the combination of the flavors are just drool worthy. If the sandwich itself wasn’t bad enough for me, I had to make the homemade ranch that I came across today on One Good Thing’s blog to dip the sandwich in. I modified it a bit, reduced the mayonnaise by half and omitted the salt. It was wicked and I will never buy ranch dressing ever again.
Ingredients for sandwich:
French bread
Rotisserie chicken meat
Avocado
Tomato
Apple cured bacon
Cheddar cheese
Fry up the bacon and layer everything into the bread. Place the whole sandwich into a panini maker on high and grill until the cheese is melted.
Ingredients for ranch dressing:
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup real mayonnaise
2 tablespoons minced chives
1/4 cup minced flat leaf parsley
2 cloves of garlic minced
1-2 tablespoons buttermilk
Smash the minced garlic up a bit and combine all the above ingredients in a small bowl and add buttermilk until desired consistency is reached.
6 relatively innocent looking ingredients….
Makes one very tasty sandwich….
Add homemade ranch…and I’m going to be swimming for quite a while to work this off!

mmmmm…….that does look yummy! No wonder it was a hit when Sarah made. She’s sure glad you shared it with her. I was wondering how I missed it if it was on your blog but I wasn’t on the computer much yesterday. It was a busy day! Thanks for sharing!!
You’re so welcome Lisa!
How many people did Sarah cook for?! See you tomorrow at Church!
