I’m so excited about our trip to New York City next week! A visit or several visits to the famous Laduree will definitely be a must since it’s walking distance from our hotel. I was first introduced to these delicious little treats on a trip to Paris nearly ten years ago. Not to be confused with the coconut macaroons, these are made with ground almonds, egg whites, sugar, and filled with either a buttercream, jam, or ganache filling. Simply divine.
New flavors are created every season. Some seasonal flavors that they’ve made in the past include: chocolate and passionfruit, chocolate and lime, granny smith apple, almond morello cherry, and orange blossom to name a few.
